Direct/Inderect Sales
SUMMARY:
The Inside Sales Representative/Business Development utilizes a variety of sales techniques and knowledge of computers/telecommunications to successfully sell to customers primarily via outbound telephone calling. Representatives will also have field sales responsibility to cover the Colorado/Colorado Springs Business district.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Understanding of communications and computers and computer networks.
- One to two years experience working in a sales environment utilizing suggestion-selling techniques, preferred but not required. Prior experience with inbound customer service helpful.
- Demonstrated aptitude and desire to sell, along with ability to meet and/or exceed goals is a must.
- Strong telephone presentation abilities are essential as are strong verbal and written communication skills and credible persuasive skills to initiate and close sales.
- Demonstrated ability to handle day-to-day work challenges confidently; willing and able to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, and rapid change. Must be resilient in the face of constraints, frustrations, or adversity.
- Ability to learn technical product information easily
- Computer skills essential – preferably with MS Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel along with organizational and time-management skills required
